What to do when pain under the shoulder blade does not go away?

What can you do when pain under the shoulder blade persist, even when you foam roll like crazy?

Connie, a reader of my website, practiced my exercise for pain under the shoulder blade a few times a day, and she feels unbearable pain during the massage, but no lasting relief.

She would like to know if that is normal, and how long it usually takes to start feeling relief.

She also foam rolled other areas of her shoulder and was able to reduce the pain significantly. Still, her the overall problem persists: As soon as she uses her hands to type, cut fruit and vegetables, clean something and so forth, her pain flares up.

The pain in her shoulder and her arms began when she used her hands excessively by piecing together very small pieces of material over a long period of time.

Now, after almost 6 months and trying different methods, relief has been very small.

Several areas of her body hurt horribly, including her forearm, back and her shoulder blade area.

In this post I will try to help a little bit and share a few thoughts.
