Knee Pain – Overview and Self-treatment

This page gives you an overview of the various types of knee pain and shows you what you can do about it yourself.

Most of the time, these pains have a muscular origin. That means they are caused by the muscles.

Often, the musculature around the knee is too “hard,” or are subject to trigger points, myogelosis, etc., which can lead to knee pain.

You can eliminate the trigger points, myogelosis, etc. and normalize the tension in the musculature with a self-massage. Often, you can get the pain largely under control this way.

In the articles written on these topics, I will show you which muscles are likely responsible for the respective pain disorders and how you can massage them yourself – see the links above.
