Headache – Overview & Self-treatment

Headaches are not always difficult or complicated to treat.

They are often the result of excessive muscle tension and trigger points. If this is the case, you can usually relieve the pain relatively easily and quickly with a self-massage.

The reason for this is that you normalise the tension of your muscles through a self-massage, eliminating trigger points, and thus the pain.
Assuming of course, that these are of a muscular origin.

In the following articles I have divided frequently occurring headaches into different regions. Each article is about self-massaging the muscles in which each respective pain may be relieved.

My advice: If you have difficulties with the massage, then try letting go of your self-imposed pressure–and take your time.

Do short, frequent practice sessions, and do not give up.

You will soon wonder what the initial problems actually were. It’s all a matter of practice.

Your body will thank you for it!
